The general policy of the School of Medicine requires residents be available by email. Residents are required to have a UCLA Mednet account, which is provided at no cost. Outside email accounts may be forwarded to the UCLA Mednet account. Residents are expected to check their email at frequent intervals (not less than every three days) unless they are on approved leave. Back to Table of Contents
