The ACGME requires a Program Letter of Agreement for each program and participating site if the assignment is for one month or longer. Please follow these guidelines when preparing your PLA: A current PLA (completely signed) must be in place before sending residents/fellows to the particpating site. The administrative contact listed must be somebody who is functioning as a residency coordinator; cannot be the associate director or a faculty member. Goals and objectives of the rotation must incorporate the ACGME competencies. Delete all underlining and bold lettering when completing the PLA. After the program director has signed, submit to Rose Ziff in the GME Office to obtain the other UCLA signatures. Do not submit directly to Dr. Parker for signature.
